2,002 Miles...

....in 5 days! We took a trip to Kansas for the wedding of some of our close friends from college and went the extra 5 and a half hours to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa and Papahawk's side of the family.
Babyhawk was so good in the car. She occupied herself with her show on her DVD player and Ipod:

Doodling away:

and catching up on her sleep:

We saw how Kansas is already using alternative forms of energy, utilizing the abundance of wind out there! It really was spooky driving by these things - looked like there had been some sort of alien invasion:

We took a trip to the zoo:

We also got to spend some time with Babyhawk's Great Grandma and Grandpa:
Great Grandma loves the sweets and shared a donut with Babyhawk:
Babyhawk also got to meet her cousin M, whom she instantly loved:
and Aunt Debbie:
Snuggling with Grandma and Grandpa:

There was a lot of silliness:
After our visit it was on to the wedding. Eric and Colleen were such a beautiful couple and the wedding was fantastic. We got to catch up with a lot of old friends and meet those new to their families - babies and wives! The gorgeous and happy couple:

The boys from Papahawk's fraternity:

Papahawk and his best buddy Jay:
While we were at the wedding, Babyhawk spent the day with her Aunt Marli and her boyfriend, "Uncle" Jared. She had a blast and could barely keep her eyes open when we got back from the wedding festivities. Aunt Marli is sending pictures soon, so tune back in later this week.

Have a great week! Rock Chalk!
