The Party!

The first Birthday party was a success! Babyhawk had so much fun and enjoyed a beautiful day with all of her best buds. At the end of the day, she wanted to take one more round in the moonwalk and she could barely keep those eyes open!:

And she fell asleep in the middle of unwrapping all of her gifts.... it was 5:00 pm. We didn't see her sweet face the rest of the night:

Babyhawk is really gaining some confidence on her feet. She stood watching Papahawk mow the front yard on Sunday for nearly 20 minutes:

Babyhawk had so much fun with her Aunt Marli! She was very disappointed when she woke up from her car ride nap to find that Marli had boarded a plane and wasn't sitting right next to her telling her those silly stories:

(Notice the moonwalk in the back? They forgot to pick the thing up! We still have it in our back yard this Sunday evening if anyone wants to stop by for a bounce... or two... or three...)

We had an exciting development minutes before this post. Babyhawk took three steps while holding my hands! She picked those feet up so deliberately - she is ready to get going. We will try to capture this pure joy on video soon!

We want to thank all of our family and friends that came out for the party. It has been an amazing year with Babyhawk in our lives and we are so lucky to have so many supportive and loving friends to share it all with.
