Exciting times in the Bluegrass...

Geema, Papa, Marli and Jared were in town for Spring Break last week and stayed in a hotel with a pool! Too fun! They also went to the Horse Park and rode a pony - which Babyhawk loves... She had such a great time and misses them all already:

March Madness of a different sort...

Wish I had more photos and videos to share with you, but I have slacked in my picture taking lately. I'll pick it back up... promise. So what has Babyhawk been up to lately?

Spring is coming!

We had our friend "J" over for the day while her parents watched some b-ball. What a great time! Babyhawk just loves her as you can see:

Babyhawk was so happy to put on a jacket for the first time in months. She HAD to have her hands in her pockets...:


We made some popcorn and watched a movie:



And we got outside! The chase:



And a wagon ride. The girls were cheesing it up!:

And then "J" had to go home. Babyhawk had such a good time and I have a feeling bedtime won't be an issue tonight!

She has stopped calling me mommy and I am now just Mom, although she still slips sometimes. She told me this afternoon "Mom, you are really sweet..." We are having so much fun right now!

Two years on her feet!

Sorry, no new material this week. We had a busy one - so I thought I would share a little video from last year.

As you all know, we found out Babyhawk had a stroke in February of 2008. We were told many many things she wouldn't be able to do or that she would struggle with and it was the beginning of a long fight.

In February of last year, Babyhawk started walking, months before anyone said she would, and hasn't looked back since:

And you all know where she is at this February - jumping off curbs and beds, running and running and dancing like there is no tomorrow. Can't wait to see what she is doing next year!
