Marli and Jared kept Babyhawk for the weekend so we could go and enjoy a concert out at a local vineyard.... You could spot our tent from a mile away and we had a blast as you can see:

Marli and Jared have photos to share later this week. The two did an excellent job, considering Babyhawk came down with a bug while she was at their house. She healed well and fast! Here she is tonight really really enjoying her dinner:







And Mamahawk's latest project.... Recovering her office chair. Recovering furniture is always something I have wanted to do, so I am excited for the adventure. I'll share photos of the progress here on the blog -

I know, I know... where's the blog update? I've heard it all week. Well... I've got really good news and some bad news. First the good, I found the camera!!! So I have lots of good stuff to share. The bad news, our wireless router bit the dust, so until Papahawk can make a visit to Best Buy, we are without an update....

Babyhawk and her friend B walking into school together last week...

We got invited to the pool last weekend... Babyhawk went down the slide about 20 times with Papahawk. Then she wanted to take a nap:

Babyhawk and I celebrated my 30th on Monday and Babyhawk made a pizza for the first time. (She has had it for dinner about every night since!):

We got Babyhawk's Halloween costume already (if you know me at all you aren't really surprised). Anyway, she tried it on, refused to take it off and then fell asleep. Can you guess who she is going to be?!?

By the way, this caused great distress at the store when I bought it. The nice lady there in the ears could not understand why I wouldn't buy her a princess costume or at least the Jessie character... why Woody?!? He's a boy!!

Then it was time for Mamahawk's annual summer picnic. We couldn't get Babyhawk out of the moonwalk...:
