Babyhawk and her friend B walking into school together last week...

We got invited to the pool last weekend... Babyhawk went down the slide about 20 times with Papahawk. Then she wanted to take a nap:

Babyhawk and I celebrated my 30th on Monday and Babyhawk made a pizza for the first time. (She has had it for dinner about every night since!):

We got Babyhawk's Halloween costume already (if you know me at all you aren't really surprised). Anyway, she tried it on, refused to take it off and then fell asleep. Can you guess who she is going to be?!?

By the way, this caused great distress at the store when I bought it. The nice lady there in the ears could not understand why I wouldn't buy her a princess costume or at least the Jessie character... why Woody?!? He's a boy!!

Then it was time for Mamahawk's annual summer picnic. We couldn't get Babyhawk out of the moonwalk...:

Mamahawk is thirty...

By the time most of you read this I will officially be in my thirties.... Papahawk threw a party - bar golf style - for me this weekend to celebrate. Thanks to all of my great friends - a lot of whom traveled to the festivities. Love you all!

We didn't find our camera... we are currently borrowing Marli's, but I got some good photos and videos at the pool today to replace those that are left on our camera... somewhere... I'll post those later this week - I am going to go now and grab Babyhawk for some Birthday cuddles... Happy Day!

Uh oh...

Lost the camera at the pool on Saturday. What makes it worse is there were some great videos of Babyhawk and her Dad going down the slide... The search is on... ARGH!

No photos for you this week. It was a busy one. But I will share a few a Babyhawk's favorite things right now.

* She absolutely loves her dogs. She also absolutely loves to boss them around. We hear "boys!" in a stern voice at least 10 times a day.

* She is really into dancing. Thanks to Marli's reception, she has to hold our hands and dance in a circle with all three of us... Oh yeah, and her favorite place to enjoy the "beats" as she calls them? The garage. Our neighbors think we are nuts.

* She loves peaches. We got some great big ones at the farmer's market this weekend and she can't get enough.

* She is really into taking roll these days. She asks, "Where's A? (her cousin)" we say "with her mommy." She responds "Oh." Then she goes through the whole list of dogs, relatives and teachers at school.

* She will make up a song at the drop of a hat. If you ask her "Can you sing a song about Mommy?" She will come up with the longest, craziest song with mommy as every third word or so. It's entertaining...

That's about it. Just a lot of talking and a lot of questions these days - which is so fun.

Papahawk is still cooking a ton and coming up with delicious recipes that are good for us and our waistlines. He has started to share his fitness/nutrition tips --- let me know if you are interested in reading some from him and I'll direct you his way.

I have been sewing a lot. I just made my first dress for myself from a pattern. I think I did a pretty good job! Considering it had a pretty complicated top and a zipper - I think I was pretty quick - it only took me two days. I'll share photos later...
