Tinyhawk's Baptism

Tinyhawk was welcomed into the church this weekend and we had a ton of family in town to celebrate.  Babyhawk told us that when everyone got here she "wanted all of these characters to watch her ride her bike."

Tinyhawk took a little nap before the festivities:

No tears from Tinyhawk!  So we went to the house to celebrate.
Here she is with her buddy A:

Our sweethearts...

Tinyhawk has been such a blessing for our family...  One of the best things about her?  She loves to snuggle:

And her and Babyhawk love to hang out together:

Strikes for Pediatric Stroke 2011

We hosted our event again this year raising money for the Children's Hemiplegia and Stroke Association (CHASA) which is very dear to our hearts.  The preparations:

Babyhawk's Taekowndo studio did a demonstration before bowling started:

We raised over $10,000 for CHASA and had a great time.  We had the help of some very great friends that made it all happen so smoothly - Chris, Danielle, Abby, Tammy, Chrissy and Tiffany - Thanks again!  For more photos of the event go to our  other blog - Strikes for Pediatric Stroke.

See you next year!

Derby Darling...

Babyhawk's class had a stick horse Derby and had to have a derby hat for the occasion.  I think Babyhawk's turned out just tacky enough:

Yee Haw!

Each child was also assigned a horse that ran in the Derby - Babyhawk drew Archarcharch.

Streaking for Babyhawk...

CHASA started a new campaign this May called "Streaking for Pediatric Stroke" asking everyone to start and continue a streak for the entire month to honor a survivor.  In honor of Babyhawk - who works so hard - I am going to run everyday.  Follow my journey at my blog - 31 Days for Evie - and join in if you like!

Here is how hard this kid works (from one of her OT sessions):
