Thanksgiving photos...

Don't think Babyhawk didn't have her own vacation while we were in Costa Rica! Her cousins came to visit with her Uncle Rory and the crew spent their time up at Marli's house. Here are some photos:

Costa Rica appetizer and Riding the Pony..

We got back from Costa Rica yesterday afternoon, and everything has been busy since. Babyhawk was almost as excited to see us as we were to see her. It is great to be home.

And now... your Babyhawk fix for the week! We took Babyhawk and "My Geema," as she calls her, out to see the Southern Lights at the Horse Park last night. They have a petting zoo, camel rides, pony rides and Santa. Babyhawk didn't care too much for the petting zoo. Listen carefully for her new catch phrase "Aww Man!":

She was also scared of the big man in red - which was expected. She did enjoy random dancing:

She kept saying "I was ridin the pony!" all night after we left....

I couldn't resist sharing these photos from Babyhawk's therapist. They were doing dress up play this week - which Babyhawk doesn't even realize is therapy...

It is fall, it is fall, the leaves are falling everywhere...

We are enjoying fall around here... Babyhawk really enjoys playing in the leaves. Here she is with her Godsister and Godbrother:

Papahawk's Steelers played in the semifinals last week, so Babyhawk and I bundled up to watch the boys. Unfortunately, they lost - but not for lack of trying:

Babyhawk graduated from her room at school and is now a Starfish! It is a preschool type room so it is a good test to see if she will be ready to go to the real deal next fall. She was moved with some of her best buds, so it has been going great! We had to create a poster showing her family's favorite things for the wall: And you can all email me to tell us we are crazy, but we decorated for Christmas this weekend! Since Papahawk and I are going on our big trip in NINE DAYS we thought this was a good time to get it all out. It also helped that Papahawk got to hang Christmas lights in 65 degree weather...

Babyhawk is loving the season already. Here she is decorating her tree.

Babyhawk had a b-day party this weekend for her little friend J at Build-a-Bear. She made a panda bear, dressed like Santa and holding a football.... only our child!

Babyhawk is getting excited for Christmas, but she is even more excited for Geema's big visit and her cousins for Thanksgiving!!!

It's Halloween.... La la la la!

Halloween was a BLAST this year. We have really been celebrating for weeks, as you can probably tell by the many appearances of the Woody costume over the last month... Here is Babyhawk on the way to school for her party:

Babyhawk's Fairy Godmother, Jessamy, sent her the best care package. A Jessie doll to complete her Toy Story character collection and this autographed photo of the Round up Gang:

It was homecoming for Papahawk's Steelers. They suffered a heart-breaking loss, but they are still 7-1, regular season champs and are heading into the playoffs motivated to win!:




... and Basketball season starts officially tonight with a Jayhawk exhibition throw down. Rock Chalk! Have a great week!
